Merchant Terms

Version: 2026.08.16

Simplified Chinese is the primary PRC text; English is a convenience translation. PRC counsel review remains a release gate. This document is not legal advice or a guarantee of compliance.

1. Service and authorization

These Terms govern an authorized merchant workspace using the free, public, multi-tenant YiTaiCOS Shopify connector. The accepting actor confirms authority to bind the merchant and the named Shopify shop.

2. Permitted use and Shopify requirements

The connector may be used only for legitimate merchant ERP operations. The merchant must comply with Shopify policies, give required notices, honor customer rights, and must not use the connector for unlawful surveillance, discrimination, or unsolicited marketing.

3. Features, scopes, and instructions

YiTaiCOS requests the minimum baseline Shopify scope and adds optional scopes only for enabled customer, catalog, inventory, historical-order, or fulfillment functions. The merchant remains responsible for configuring those functions and lawful processing instructions.

4. Security and credentials

The merchant must protect administrator accounts and promptly report suspected compromise. YiTaiCOS encrypts connector secrets, applies tenant and permission boundaries, and may suspend a connector to protect customers, the merchant, Shopify, or the service.

5. Suspension, termination, and retention

A merchant may disable or uninstall the connector. Shopify-sourced projections and secrets are then deleted or irreversibly anonymized after legal-hold and retention checks; unrelated ERP data is not deleted. Limited evidence may remain for legal, security, dispute, and backup-control purposes.

6. Service limits and changes

The connector is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability. Material changes to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or DPA require a new versioned acceptance; non-material editorial changes do not.
