Enter IOSS and import-tax identifiers

Store a tax registration with its real owner, then select the matching tax decision on the order before creating a label.

Before you start

Use only a confirmed registration number and know who legally owns it. Marketplace IOSS and other marketplace registrations belong to the exact Sales Channel. Company EORI belongs under Company registrations. Do not guess a number or reuse one from a different account.

Steps

  1. Open Sales channels

    Open Company > Sales channels. Use Sales channels for marketplace registrations or Company registrations for the legal entity's EORI.

  2. Choose the owner

    For a marketplace registration, open the exact shop or account and select Add channel tax registration. If the channel does not exist yet, add that Sales Channel first.

  3. Add the registration

    Choose the Registration type, such as IOSS, and review the destination countries. Company registrations offer the supported EORI jurisdiction instead.

  4. Enter the number

    Enter the Registration number and save. IOSS numbers are masked after saving; use the reveal control only when an authorised check is necessary.

  5. Confirm the order decision

    Before creating a label, open the selected order's Documents panel and edit Import taxes. Confirm Tax collection, the matching prepaid tax procedure, who collected the tax and the Exact Sales Channel. Select Confirm decision.

Expected result

The registration is stored under its correct owner, and the order records the reviewed tax decision that label checks can use. Saving a registration alone does not prove that it applies to every order.

If something goes wrong

  • The number is rejected: check the selected registration type and enter the complete confirmed number in its required format.
  • The correct Sales Channel is missing: add or refresh that exact shop or account before saving a marketplace registration or confirming the order.
  • The order has no single matching default: review the complete Import taxes decision manually. Explicit order or source facts take priority over a saved default.
